Foreign-Trained Dentist vs. International Medical Graduate: What Can We Learn from International Medical Graduate Literature?

The United States of America has traditionally attracted people from various countries, including physicians and dentists, who wish to further their education career in the U.S. international medical graduates’ (IMGs) role been shown be vital academics healthcare delivery systems. IMGs’ demographics, contribution system, research, challenges system have extensively investigated. However, similar data are limited foreign-trained dentists (FTDs). This study reviews current literature related IMGs FTDs proposes some recommendations for future studies.
